Online therapy for anxiety, burnout, and overwhelm in high-achieving Women

helping professional women across Colorado, florida, maryland, Pennsylvania, and Delaware manage stress, overcome burnout, and feel like themselves again.

what are signs of burnout in High-achievers?

Alicia Rozycki, PhD is a psychologist offering online therapy for women | Online therapy

High-achievers are the go-to person at work and home because they’re reliable, driven, and get (sh)it done. Yet constantly being bombarded and caring for others leaves little time for their own needs.

You may be holding it together on the outside but inside may be struggling with:

  • chronic stress and tension

  • overthinking and anxiety

  • pressure to always perform

  • difficulty slowing down or resting

The good news? Overachieving caretakers already have the skills they need for self-care—they just need objective support to apply those skills unto themselves, guilt-free!

the first steps of etherapy

  1. identify your goals

  • Stressed, tense, sleepless, with a to-do list on repeat especially at night?

  • We’ll choose goals like achieving restful sleep, decreasing worry, tuning-up assertiveness, and setting boundaries to protect your time and energy.

2. release negative self-talk & add relaxation

  • Did someone tell you that you don’t measure up? It’s time to fire that internal coach and hire an encouraging, effective one with proven cognitive strategies.

  • Let’s also replace workaholism and caregiver burnout with efficient productivity and downtime that recharges you.

3. break unhelpful patterns

  • Let’s learn where this huge need to be everything to everyone came from so we can help you learn what cycles to break and how.

  • We’ll dream up what YOU want the future to look like and set actionable steps towards your goals.

 experience and approach to therapy

Alicia Rozycki, PhD is a psychologist offering online therapy for women | Online therapy in Colorado

With over 18 years of experience as a licensed psychologist and the real-world perspective of being a recovering perfectionist, I’m here to help you achieve your unique therapeutic goals.

My education includes earning a PhD in Counseling Psychology from Texas Tech University and undergraduate degrees from University of Maryland (BS in Psychology Cum Laude with Honors and BA in Art Studio).

In my approach, I make conceptualizations using psychodynamic and family systems perspectives but then draw from cognitive theory in providing tools to help you alter thought patterns. Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) techniques may be paired with psychoeducation, creative arts exercises, and bibliotherapy. For trauma work I use Cognitive Processing Therapy or Written Exposure Therapy. For insomnia we can apply CBT for Insomnia.

Overall, I work to meet you where you at and apply tools that suit your comfort level and learning style.
