WHY THERAPY FOR WOMEN IN Pennsylvania?

In developing AROSE eTherapy, Dr. Alicia Rozycki wanted to shift her practice focus to specifically offering online therapy catered towards women. After working over 15 years as a psychologist in both the civilian sector and military settings, it became obvious that the concerns of women  were unique.

Many women would come to therapy burned out from managing multiple roles including mothering, working, and maintaining a relationship. In addition to managing multiple roles, women were bearing the brunt of managing households and caretaking children or parents; leaving them little time or energy for self-care.

Although there are some good partners, many women were settling for relationships where their partner was not pulling their weight. In caretaking, many women were struggling to say “no,” set boundaries, and carve out non-negotiable self-care time. It became clear; even superwomen needed support. From these experiences, AROSE eTherapy was developed with a mission to support women.

MILITARY COUNSELING,THERAPY FOR VETERANS, AND SUPPORT FOR SPOUSES IN Pennsylvania

If you’re an active duty member, retiree, veteran, or military spouse, this practice is also for you.

Dr. Rozycki has extensive experience working with military, government employees, and spouses and has been in two of those roles herself. With over 10 years experience as a military psychologist (civilian) and military spouse, she understands military life personally and professionally. Active duty military women are often in difficult positions in a male dominated career field. For government employees, this can also be a challenge. For spouses, they know all too well the stress of managing it all while their spouse is TDY, deployed, or working long hours. Many times women feel they have to juggle it all without help and that’s just not true! It takes strength to reach out for support—reach out today!
